• Back-End Developer Junior

The selected candidate, placed within the development team, will follow a training program with mentoring to learn the fundamental concepts of object-oriented programming and RESTful services, the analysis and understanding of web communication protocols, relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases, as well as Volocom’s proprietary framework, which enables indexing and searching through millions of news items and delivering services to client-facing applications. The candidate will focus in particular on the implementation and continuous evolution of services related to news monitoring and analysis. At the end of the training, the candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and subsequent maintenance of server-side services provided by the company to its users.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or degree in technical-scientific fields

• Knowledge of the fundamentals of object-oriented programming or RESTful services

• Basic knowledge of C# language (.NET and/or .NET Core)

• Knowledge of relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems

• Passion for technology and software development
